What can I expect for the various 2018 Dodge Challenger Trims?

The 2018 Dodge Challenger's major trims are SXT, GT, R/T, R/T 392, SRT 392, SRT Hellcat, and SRT Demon. SXT is the basic trim with automatic headlights, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and tech that includes a 7-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth and a six-speaker sound system. The GT adds to this by being the only Challenger with all-wheel drive, heated front seats, and interior ambient lighting, plus much more. The SRT Hellcat was built for speed with added suspension, quad exhaust tips, and wider tires, but if you're looking for the most powerful muscle car in history look no further than the new SRT Demon. The SRT Demon comes standard with only the driver's seat and includes specialized equipment to optimize its engine power. Some of the equipment included are street-legal drag slicks, a transbrake, an active exhaust system, and launch control. In all Challengers, there is ample front legroom and the backseat, when installed, is large enough to seat three. There is also quite a bit of cargo space for a muscle coupe with 16.2 cubic feet available in the trunk and the rear seatbacks can fold down to make this space even larger.

What type of engines are available for the Dodge Challenger?

The SXT and GT models come standard with a 3.6-liter V6 and an 8-speed automatic transmission and can reach 30 mpg. The 5.7-liter V8 is available in the R/T and T/A models and can reach 375 horsepower on the 6-speed manual transmission or 372 horsepower with the 8-speed automatic transmission. All other models, but the Demon and Hellcat come with a 6.4-liter V8, while the Demon and Hellcat come with a 6.2-liter supercharged V8. The Hellcat reaches 707 horsepower and the Demon 840 horsepower, with the Demon being the highest horsepower V8 production car engine ever made. All of these engines have the option of a 6-speed manual transmission or 8-speed automatic.
