Finance Manager (F&I)
This
role is suited for an outgoing and motivational individual who enjoys a
dynamic and fast-paced environment. Finance & Insurance Managers
offer vehicle financing and insurance to customers, provide them with a
thorough explanation of aftermarket products, extended warranties and a
complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures
and policies.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Seeking new lending institutions and maintaining good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs
- Process financing and leasing deals accurately and securing approval through financial sources to secure approval through the proper federal, state and corporate channels
- Accurately desk deals, submit deals to lenders for approval, make credit decisions and effectively close deals
- Understanding and compliance with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new/used-vehicle and finance departments
- Creating and maintaining a program with the sales department that will ensure all new sales are referred to the F&I department
- Training and providing the sales team with information on finance and lease programs as well as the benefits of the dealership's financing and extended service programs
- Fully proficient with title laws and registration processes
- Ensures expeditious funding of all contracts
- Steady work history and the commitment to building a career
- Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a "people person")
- Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency
- Excellent verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills with a professional appearance
- Must possess the ability to ask for the sale and follow through
